Guide dogs and service dogs are welcome inside the castle. Other dogs are not allowed inside but are welcome in the King's Garden on a leash.
No, there are no lifts in the castle. Access to the upper floors is via spiral staircases only. The Treasury is located in the basement and is also accessed via stairs.
